What people say about their experience at Lee and Oded’s studio, workshops, and creations.

★★★★★   Workshop

“We found Lee through a friend and discovered a magical place – a home nestled in nature, where Lee welcomed us like family. The workshop was so moving and special. Lee shared her personal story, and from there we dove straight into the work, with personal guidance full of heart. Lee also took us on a tour of the community’s memorial site – an experience we’ll never forget. I’ve already recommended it to my fellow teachers and our synagogue community, and my 16-year-old daughter said it suits her age group too.”

★★★★★   Mezuzah

“I saw the mezuzah in one of Lee’s videos and had wanted for a long time to replace mine with something that carries deeper meaning. When I came and saw it in person, I felt it was meant for me. It now hangs at the entrance to my home. Every time I kiss it, I’m reminded that it’s made from wood from the Gaza Envelope – from land that has been through so much – and that moves me every single time.”

★★★★★   Mezuzah

“I had been looking for a special mezuzah for my front door for a long time – something with added meaning and natural elements, which I love. I came across Lee and Oded Amitai’s mezuzot by chance and fell in love instantly. Lee matched me with a mezuzah in exactly the size and clean design I was looking for. The result is that I have a beautiful entrance to my home, and I feel genuinely moved every time I walk in.”

★★★★★   Workshop

“During the ‘South at Heart’ festival, a close cousin of mine was visiting from the US, and I was looking for an interesting activity we could combine with a trip to the area. We found Lee and Oded Amitai’s workshop in Netiv HaAsara, which seemed unique, original, and fascinating.

Lee and Oded introduced us to the wonderful world of mandala dotting – a meditative technique where, using special tools, you create an entire mesmerizing world dot by dot. Sitting together around the table, focusing on the colors and the engaging conversation simply made all the outside ‘noise’ disappear.

This isn’t just an art workshop – it’s a healing workshop, one that makes you want to keep going and going.

What truly made the experience powerful was the story of Lee and Oded, the story of the place, and the story of the trees they work with. Hearing what they went through on October 7th in Netiv HaAsara, and seeing how, from that pain, they choose beauty and renewal – that is a real lesson in resilience. It was inspiring beyond words.

If you’re looking for an experience that brings you closer and builds you up – go, create, and embrace them. It’s worth every moment. We left with a beautiful piece of art in hand, but more than anything, with a heart full of hope and peace.”

★★★★★   Mezuzah & Clock

“I have known Lee and Oded from Netiv HaAsara for several years. But when I visited them after a long time away – after they returned home following October 7th – I was met with a surprise. A breathtaking world of art. A couple of creators making wonderful things – a combination of woodwork and art. Simply breathtaking. Of course I immediately bought several pieces (I couldn’t resist), and since then I have been in love. I keep coming back to see the work and buy gifts for friends and family.”

“Last Rosh Hashana, our whole family flew to Italy. During the trip, we were invited to the home of a Christian man – a great friend and supporter of Israel. When we thought about what to bring him as a gift, the first thing that came to mind was a mezuzah. The mezuzahs that Lee and Oded make are nothing short of breathtaking – beautiful and unique. We put together a lovely ‘Land of Israel’ gift package. When we arrived in Italy and gave him the package, our host was so moved that he immediately hung it on the doorpost of his home. It was love at first sight.”
